I had an interesting dream last night that I want to share with you. There have been several times in my life where God will communicate to me through a dream along with the Devil too. These make me confused most of the times but the dream I had last night brought clarity to a prayer I have been praying recently. I prayed that I could understand and receive peace for all the crazy stuff God is impressing on my heart to do for Him some day. So this is how the dream went.
Through out this section of my dream I was in a town with a lot of turmoil and fighting. People were literally killing each other. There were no police in the city. In the center of the small town on Main Street was a shipping container that was bombed and was now was stuck in the ground from the explosion. I climbed up to the top of the shipping container where I was surrounded on each side by each race of people that was present in the fighting. From what I remember there were liberal whites, poor black southerners, conservative bible thumpers of all people, and a group of Muslims from Iran. This was a pretty interesting mix of people in the dream. Bible thumpers? Yes. I stood up and welcomed each group by name and made a humorous remark to each group to break the tension in the air. After this I preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone. I don't remember what I said I just remember I preached the word boldly and saw results. I didn’t just preach to any one group but to all of them. I had prayed the night before that God would bring peace to me about different things about the future and through this dream He did. I woke up with an overwhelming feeling of boldness and excitement for the future. This has the possibility to unlock all sorts of doors because for over 21 years I have never wanted to do any sort of long-term missions over seas unless it was to Europe. I am an Evangelist at heart and this dream spoke to me that it doesn't matter where I go on this earth or what dangers I get into but all I want to do is just want to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After this dream all possibilities are on the table. Asia, South America, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and of course North America.
I propose a challenge to you: Pray, seek, and shut up till the LORD answers you. God might speak to you to you in a dream like He did to me. He might use a friend of yours to drop that “thing” into your heart that you have been praying for. He might just speak to you by reading the Bible so pick that up and start reading. He loves seeing you delight in Him with things that bring you joy and glorifies Him. If you are in a similar boat like I was in I pray that you continue to pursue Jesus. And in this I will also pray for clarity of what ever God impresses on your heart to do for him. Two good scriptures to read through are Psalm 37 and Acts 21. If you ever want someone to pray and stand beside you for the promises of God just ask me and we can sit down and talk. I hope this blessed you!
